Avoid submerging your jewelry in water, moisture will not only tarnish your metals quicker but it can alter your stone over time. Always remove before bathing, swimming, washing hands, cleaning, etc. Store your jewelry in a cool & dry place (aka not your bathroom) to keep away from moisture.
